Refund and Return Policy

Overview
Our refund and returns policy for services lasts 7 days from your appointment date. Our product return policy lasts 30 days from purchase. If these timeframes have passed, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a service refund, you must report any concerns within 48 hours of your appointment. For product returns, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of services and goods are exempt from being returned. Services performed as requested cannot be refunded due to personal style preferences. We also do not accept returns on opened personal care products, custom services, or items purchased on sale.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards and certificates
- Used or opened hair care products
- Custom haircut designs or specialty services
- Services completed more than 7 days ago
- Products without original packaging or receipt
To complete your return, we require a receipt, booking confirmation, or proof of purchase through Booksy.com.
Please do not return products to the manufacturer – all returns must come through our shop.
Appointment Cancellations
We require 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations through Booksy.com or by calling us directly. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a 50% service charge. No-shows will be charged the full service amount.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Services with minor quality concerns reported within 48 hours
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hour notice
- Products damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any service concern reported more than 7 days after appointment
Refunds
Once your return request is received and reviewed, we will contact you within 24-48 hours to notify you that we have received your request. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5 business days.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced services and items may be refunded. Sale items and promotional services cannot be refunded.
UKB Brand Products (Coming Soon)
Our upcoming UKB brand launch will feature exclusive UpperKutts products. Pre-orders require a 50% deposit and follow special terms:
- Deposits refundable up to 7 days before launch
- Extended 45-day return period for first 90 days after launch
- Priority customer service for UKB products
- Manufacturing defects covered under extended warranty
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. For services, we offer complimentary touch-ups within 7 days if you’re not satisfied with the results. If you need to exchange a product for the same item, send us an email at i[email protected] and bring your item to our Danville location.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and given directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be issued to you.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should bring your product to: physical storefront location or mail it to the same address on your package.
If mailing, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Booksy.com Bookings
All appointments booked through Booksy.com follow the same refund policy outlined above. Refunds for Booksy bookings will be processed through the original payment method within 5-10 business days. Booksy processing fees are non-refundable.
